HIGH POINT — More than 20 professional and student designer-maker finalists competed to be a category or best of show winner in the International Society of Furniture Designers’ 4th annual Innovation+Design 2023 competition, and the winners were recognized Thursday evening at a reception at Congdon Yards.

The finalist and winning projects will be on display at the Congdon Yards gallery through High Point Market, April 22-26.

Innovation+Design is a juried competition and exhibition, sponsored by ISFD’s furniture industry partners and supported by a grant from The Earl and Kathryn Congdon Family Foundation. It is open to professional artisans who design and make their own products, as well as to serious woodworking students who are anticipating a career in the custom wood and related home furnishings industries.
